In Vegas!

Okay, so once again I have been meaning to update this for a while and I just haven't gotten around to it.
When we first arrived in Vegas we went to the Mall, it was a lot like the Gateway! :) We got a picture with the DQ Ice Cream Guy (I love Dairy Queen!)Emilee got some lemonade.And we got free ice cream!!! YUM!!!
So, while Em and I were in Vegas we went to the Strip! It was disgusting and dirty but we had fun!! There were a lot of impersonators that we got our picture taken with. :)Em and I tried on SUPER expensive glasses.This picture cracks me up, the guy told Em that she could just stay with him so she busted up laughing and couldn't stop. These guys were soo much fun!!Michael Jackson!

And yes... Emilee did consider leaving the house like this for about... 2.158 seconds... :)This was our ride home... check out the size of those cups!! They didn't have a smaller size that was plastic!!
And that was our trip to VEGAS!! :)

Drive to "Hell"

Aka Las Vegas, Nevada... or Henderson.
This weekend was a BLAST!!! Sara Conrad and Jacob Mantz (they both went to CEU and Emilee grew up with Sara) got married, Em wanted to go to the reception, so guess who was forced to go along? That is right, me! Just kidding :) I just went with Em so she didn't have to drive alone. It was a blast.We left Price at about 11 on Friday morning.We knew that it would be an adventurous trip because before we even got out of Price this is what we saw!!
When we were in Emery County there was some construction (of course) and cars pulled off to the side of the road. We were pretty confused about what was going on, so I unrolled the window and asked. Apparently the driver of one of the other cars had rear ended the car in front of them so they were exchanging insurance (there was no damage to either car so this seemed quite pointless to us) so Emilee and I pulled forward to the guy holding the stop sign. Then this old guy walked over to my window and said, "Ya know, you're going to hell right now, this is Heaven. Where are you going?" And we said, "Las Vegas!" He replied, "Yep, definitely going to hell." So I guess we spent a weekend in Hell but don't worry because we are back in "Heaven" now.
We passed the polygamist town, Joseph. This is really close to where my family goes camping! :)
We stopped in Cedar City to get gas and drinks. (The funny thing on this sign is the banner at the bottom... What's up? Text 'Happenings" to 83043. haha) There was a cute boy outside of the Maverick selling hot dogs. He offered us a sample but we declined... I think he would have given them to us for free.The bathrooms had the best sign!! :) Nature Calls!! :)Emilee and I in the bathroom.This was painted on the wall outside the bathroom. Pretty cool decorations for a Maverick if you ask me! :)
We decided to play that really dumb and childish game, ya know, the one where you try to get semis to honk for you... yeah we were pretty successful.
Next we played the license plate game... well more like we listed all of the different license plates we saw........ Pretty good right??
It was a fun but long drive!! I think my favorite part would have to be when Emilee and I did the Cupid Shuffle. I'm sure people were looking at us like we were crazy!!
I don't want to make this post SUPER long so this is all I'll write today. Tomorrow I'll try to write about what we did in Vegas! :)

Family

Lately, as well all know, my life consists of school, work and going home every weekend. Last week was slightly different.
I was able to hang out with Emilee everyday! I actually stayed in her apartment every night. It was really nice! I have missed being able to hang out with her 24/7! One night we even went to a friends house and played Pepsi Pong. I don't think I can even describe how much I hate regular pepsi! Yuck!! It was a lot of fun but I highly doubt that I will be playing that game again anytime soon.
On Thursday I made my regular trip home. Friday morning I woke up and went with Carson to babysit his nephews. It was a blast! They are such cute little boys. I can definitely tell they are related to Carson and have been brainwashed well (just ask what their favorite car is) Enough said.
That night Ty and I got slurpees (yum!) and watched Zoolander (yes, I did watch it again.) It was really good to just relax at home.
Saturday was kind of stressful for me. I had to write a paper for my biology class. I had no clue what to write about or anything. Normally I can write essays without a problem but this one took me AGES to write! On top of that I had promised Ciera that I would make snickerdoodles for Keagan's baby blessing.I eventually finished my essay (I wrote it on genetic engineering, yeah, I got the idea from the movie, My Sister's Keeper) and the cookies, I had to make a double batch because my dad loves to eat them straight from the oven! I think that is a compliment though... :)
While I was writing my essay I was also chatting with friends on Facebook (of course, maybe that is why it took me so long to write it...) I was chatting with my old debate coach, Todd Hammond. Him and his wife just finished a theater in their basement so they invited me to go over and watch a movie. So Katie and I did! That probably sounds kind of weird, but it really isn't! haha It was fun and made me miss debate a lot!
Sunday was a great day! I went to Logan for Keagan's baby blessing. He was so cute! I was really upset with myself because I forgot my camera! So I will have to steal some pictures from Ciera to put up.
That is pretty much all that is going on... well besides a ton of homework and studying for math tests! It is okay though because next week is my last week of summer school! :)

Memorial Weekend!

Okay, so I decided that I wanted to post some pictures so here ya go! :)

This week was awesome! School was boring like always. It was midterm so it was a little busy!
I decided that I needed a break and took work off for the entire weekend! So on Thursday I went home after my history class!
When I got home I went to lunch with Chirelle! We went to The Pizza Factory, which was DELISH! It was a lot of fun to be able to catch up with her! Then I went home and Carson was waiting for me. :) Tyson had to do an interview for his history class. He decided to interview our neighbor, when I lived at home I used to take them cookies ALL the time. Tyson thanked them for their help and promised to bring cookies, so guess who got to make them? ME! (with Carson's help, of course!) :). Then Ty, Carson and I delivered them after that Tyson had homework so I helped him finish it up. I'm sure it wasn't very much fun for Carson, but he was a good sport and just hung out with us.
Friday morning I woke up to my cellphone ringing at 7:30! Who calls people that early?! It was a number I didn't know so I didn't answer. I started to fall back asleep and my phone starts ringing again! I figured if someone was calling back it must be important, so I answered. It was my dad. He is such a nerd! He forgot his cellphone and was calling me from a payphone. I had to save him and take him his phone. Then I went to lunch with Cameron and my mom. Then I went to Logan! I loved spending time with my sister. We had a lot of fun just talking, shopping and watching movies.
Saturday I woke up, did some biology (thanks Ciera) ate lunch and Zoolander, which everyone knows is my favorite! It was so funny because I got Hayden to do Blue Steel.Hayden's original Blue Steel.Hayden's new Blue Steel. He is so funny! Now whenever you say, "Hayden, do Blue Steel," this is what he does. I guess he knows what it is like to be really, ridiculously good looking!
Then I went home. When I got home one of my best friends, Katie, came over! I don't get to see her much and it was really nice to be able to visit. Then Carson came and got me, I have been telling him for weeks that I wanted to go to the park and feed the ducks, it was finally warm enough that we could! :) After he got me a slurpee! Yum!! :)
Sunday was interesting that is for sure! I decided to go to the singles branch(mostly because my family was out of town and I didn't know who I would sit with in their ward). I am not quite sure how I feel about it. It is so tiny and no one really talks. Also, it was interesting... I went to Sunday school and all of the boys sat on one side and all of the girls on the other. Part of me thinks I should go to that ward because it needs more members... I think I am going to try the College ward and see how I feel about that and then make my decision.
Ciera, Stewart, Hayden and Keagan all came over on Sunday. I had been sitting around doing absolutely nothing for a couple hours so I was excited to have the company. I just spent time with them and then went to bed.
This morning I woke up at 6am to meet up with my parents and spend the day camping with them. Carson came over at 6:30 to say goodbye to me! He is the best! :) I got to hold Keagan pretty much all day. I loved it!!!And now I am in Price... again... procrastinating my math homework, which I really shouldn't be doing because I have a test in the morning! Yuck, thank goodness I have Emilee to teach me!

Summer?

After today I am officially half way done with summer school!! I am SO ready to be done!
I don't really have much to write about...
Last week the highlights of my week were:
I worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I couldn't go home. :( I only worked Friday morning so I decided that I would go to Springville and babysit my neice, Libby, so that Dustin and Kerri could go on a date. I haven't spent too much time with Libby so it was a lot of fun to have that one on one time.She is such a cute little girl! She is not a very cuddly baby but she was so tired that for a long time she just wanted me to hold her. I loved it!

I slept over at their house and came back to Price on Saturday morning. I worked 10+ hours that day. Then I worked again Sunday.
That was my weekend.
This week has been pretty much been normal and boring. The only thing out of the ordinary is that Emilee is back so I have been able to hang out with her a lot and my roommate, Melissa, and I went and watched a movie with some friends. That is pretty much it!
I am going home today! YAY!!! It is going to be a long and fun weekend! I am so stoked! Today I am going to go to dinner with Chirelle, we have been friends since I was in 7th grade! We haven't really hung out much lately so it will be a lot of fun to get together and catch up!
Tyson asked me to help him make snickerdoodles for our neighbor "brother Bill" and then Carson is going to come over. It will be a fun night! I am excited.
Tomorrow I am going to go and visit my sister! I love being able to hang out with her. I think it is so funny because growing up we did not get a long at all! We would fight all the time but now she is one of my best friends and I don't know what I would do without her.
Saturday I am going to hang out with Carson. We are still trying to decide what we want to do. My parents are going camping and they want us to go with them. So we will see if we decide to do that or not.
Sorry my blog is so boring my life just really isn't very exciting. Hopefully that will change soon! :)

Long time!

Wow! It has been such a long time since I have written. I'm not really even sure what to write!
So much has changed but at the same time nothing has.
For starters, I graduated from CEU, well kinda. I had commencement and I walked. Dustin walked as well. He has been finished for a LONG time he just never turned in the papers to actually graduate. It was fun walking with him. I was going to post all these pictures of my apartment and how it was before I packed up and came home. But now I feel like it has just been so long and is pointless for me to post them. If you wanted to see them I could post them.
That night I went to Motocross with Carson Haacke. I knew Carson in high school and took him to Sadies my sophomore year but I hadn't really talked to him much since my sophomore year. He just got back from his mission. It was so much fun!! It was freezing cold and rained the entire time. Carson was such a gentleman and gave me his coat. So I was nice and warm and dry and he was freezing! Poor guy. :(
The rest of that week I just worked on moving back into my parents house, hung out with Carson and some other friends and worked. It was nice to be home.
Last week I went back to Price and moved into the new apartment. I am sleeping on an air mattress and freeze all night long. It is miserable. I wake up several times during the night just because I am so cold!
I think that school is pretty much going to be the death of me! I have classes pretty much ALL day, everyday. My summer schedule is:
8am-10:15 Math
10:30-12:15 Life Span
3:30- 5:15 History
and most days 5:30-9 work
From 12:15-3:30 I do my online biology class and other homework.
It is a lot of work and makes me so tired!
I came home this weekend (like always) and spent a lot of time with my family. My sister, her husband and kids are here too. It is so much fun! I love hanging out with them. My nephews are just so cute! I also hung out with Carson this weekend. He was such a trooper and watched the Notebook with me! (Yeah, pretty much he is the best ;P) Then we saw Robin Hood! It was really long but good. I liked it a lot.
Today has been a lot of fun. I was able to go and hear my older brother speak in church. We also had chicken kabobs! Yum! Now I am just wasting time until I have to go back to Price. :S I am really not wanting to go. Well I guess I should get going, I probably wont be updating for a while because they have this new thing at CEU and you can only blog for 10 minutes! Ridiculous, right?! But that is really all I have to say! Sorry there are no pictures, my computer wouldn't load any. I will try again next time! :)

Most EPIC night EVER!

Today has been such a crazy day! I woke up and went to work at 6 this morning (yuck!) I got off work and came home and started packing. I got all of my kitchen stuff loaded up, I felt pretty good about that! Then I decided to make a video for student government. It was a lot of fun to look at the pictures and remember all the good times I have had this year in student government.
Then we had the student government clean up and we watched my video. When it got over I realized that I am really done... I keep thinking that I have more time here but really I don't. I do still have class for a while but I don't have student government and all of my friends. I can't even believe how fast this year has gone by.When I got done with my student government stuff I went shopping with Ashlie for a little bit. Shockingly I didn't buy anything. :)
Then I came back and I was talking to Bethany and Emilee... and I guess it really hit me that I won't be here next year. I was sitting on the floor in Bethany's room with my CEU blanket and I just started to cry. (Yes, I am a baby.) Which made Emilee cry as well. It is just sad to know that my life is going to change so drastically.I have LOVED living with Emilee. We just sit in our apartment and talk and play stupid games on facebook. She has become one of my closest friends and I can't even imagine not being around her everyday. It makes me so sad to think about it. We decided that we need to take advantage of the time that we have left together. So tonight we decided to do something absolutely crazy and epic!!!We decided to go to Wal*Mart and get some cheap make up and craft items. Then we got Freal shakes from Maverick! :) YUM!! Rocked out in my car to some of our AWESOME music! Got back to our apartment and the adventures began!!!We decided that we wanted to make each other a present but the catch was we could only use the random items we bought at Wal*Mart.
Our supplies were:
Frames, construction paper, ribbon, 3 buttons, and material. We could do whatever we wanted with it.
So we sat at by the doors of our bedrooms and made our crafts while we chatted and once again listened to music! When we finished our presents we gave them to each other! Emilee LOVES sweater vests so I decided I was going to try and make her a mini vest to go in her frame. We also have lots of epic times together so I decided that was the one word that would work best for her present. Emilee made me this cute picture! It has a lot of our memories on it. It will always remind me of the good times we have had.
Our next activity was blind folded make overs!Need I say more?
Needless to say, it was an awesome night and I will not forget it! I am going to miss Emilee so much!
